I’M (ON A) HERO
Last week I traded my relatively new Samsung Jet for a HTC Hero. I got the Jet with my contract renewal last year, after explaining my phone needs to the seller. He suggested the Jet to me saying it could do all I asked for.
I think at the time the Jet was a new phone on the market and they were expecting a lot of it. Unfortunately, after having it for about 6 months it was clear to me it wasn’t what I wanted or needed thus that left me with a few options.
Deal with it until my next renewal, which is somewhere in 2011 or look for a new phone. I really didn’t want to wait so I went and got a new phone. Needles to say I went to a different store!
Now I’m the proud owner of the HTC Hero. It runs on Android and I can completely customise it to my -everyday on the road busy lifestyle- needs with tons of apps.
Actually I’m writing this on the WP app and even though it still takes a little while to write as I still have to get used to the keyboard it’s really easy to use (and fun to do!)
Don’t get me wrong, the Jet is a great phone to make calls or send texts with and the calender is great too, I just need a little more from my phone.
So what phone do you use and do you use it for anything else besides the obvious? And if you have an Android run phone what apps do you recommend I get and why?
Ooh and in case you wondered what happened to the Jet; my mum is very happy with it.

Ouuu, that sounds sweet. I have a Blackberry and downloaded the WP App for it, but have yet to customize it. I should get around to doing that, I always have urges to blog but never am able to!
