Shout It Out

It’s been almost a month since my last update, but that’s due to my health (again). I won’t go into it again as most of you know what it is and why (especially those following me on social networks). Instead I want to share some exciting news!

On June 1st 2010 Hanson’s new album SHOUT IT OUT will be released! It’s their next studio album since the release of THE WALK in 2007. In the mean time Hanson has been touring, organized walks to support causes to Fight poverty and HIV/AIDS in Africa and released an EP called STAND UP, STAND UP amongst other things. So they have been very busy.

They have inspired many to organize walks for causes in their area and have inspired people to walk with them (barefoot). Their goal was to raise money for causes by doing these walks and in total 35,863 miles have been walked so far! That’s more than walking around the world one time (which is 24,902 miles).

All of this is really inspiring and it has made me look into organizing a walk myself too. I’m still looking into getting permits and locations so nothing is 100% certain yet but I hope one day I’ll be able to say:  Come walk with me! :)

What location are you thinking of?

I was thinking of Brussels or something central like that so we can get more people to come down to it. Maybe even do it together with the BE ST although I haven’t spoken to them about it yet.

Ok cool! If I got the time and money I will show up! Depends a bit on when and the money issues but otherwise I’ll be there!
