VIP Shopping Part 2

I didn’t manage to get the whole day off on Friday to go VIP shopping, but was asked to come in a few hours during the evening. So that didn’t really give a problem when it came to shopping. I still had the whole day left to go bargain hunting.

We arrived at the outlet around 10 A.M. only to be one of the first that day to walk that red carpet to pick up our VIP cards. The shops opened at 10 as well so for a little while we really felt like VIPs as there was no one in the shops except for the staff and us.

I saw some really cute things, although some of them were still above the budget I had in mind. I didn’t find the dress I was looking for, but Calvin Klein had a really beautiful red strapless dress. I would have preferred a dress with straps, but if it wouldn’t have been above budget I would have bought it anyway…

When I walked into the Burberry store a beautiful handbag caught my eye. And since a girl can never have enough handbags I just had to see if I could afford it. Well, I wish I never looked at the price tag, it still gives me nightmares. Originally it was €1010 but it was ‘on sale’ for €650 so way above budget!
I would actually be afraid to carry a bag around that costs even half of that, because it doesn’t matter how expensive a bag is, in the end they get dirty anyway (especially if a pen would leak, like it did in my normally priced handbag…)

However, I did manage to get a few things that were reduced a lot. Maybe not as much as Amanda‘s bargains but at least I got some discount. I bought myself a black Mustang Jeans t-shirt with a print on it  from €20 for €10  as well as a purple Mustang Jeans blouse from €40 for €22 and a pair of Puma trainers from €100 for €45.

For lunch we sat in the VIP room with a security guard at the door and more staff than VIPs to serve.

So all in all it was a very successful day, I got home at 4.45 P.M. and had to leave for work again at 5.30 P.M. but I was still so excited about the shopping that I didn’t even feel tired.

It was a good experience, but I wish I had a budget to match my VIP status, than I would have found more bargains than I did now ;)
