Let it snow

With so many plans this weekend, from washing my car to finally catching up with everyone online, I didn’t expect my weekend to turn out so different from what I thought it would be.

I woke up yesterday morning to a white world, and I don’t mean just a mucky layer of brown-ish snow but a decent layer that covered the planet (or well at least this part). So like a kid in a candy store I went outside to enjoy the cold. Unfortunately it disappeared rather quickly and I continued with my usual weekend happenings -groceries and errands- thinking I would do my online things after that.

But that was far from the truth, it started snowing again when I was nearly done with my tasks and since that’s a pretty rare thing these last years I went outside again to enjoy it. The dog loves snow so I played with him in the snow a bit and had a good laugh at Sam trying to catch the snowflakes from behind the window.

Today it snowed all day and there is a thick layer of snow outside. It looks so beautiful and I’m in Christmas spirits already although it’s still weeks away! I went on at least 3 walks through the snow today throwing snowballs at my family (how evil ;) ).

There is more snow expected for tomorrow, although I really hope it’s not going to cause any weird situations on the road as I have to drive to work tomorrow. I love snow, but not when I’m driving and I just can’t understand all those drivers cruising by my house at the moment going faster than is good for them under these weather circumstances. I’d rather be late than never get to my destination at all…

Is there snow in your area too, or are you going towards summer and are you reading this laying in the sun?

Oh man. You’re making me jealous! I love snow… :)

It’s been frosting here every morning but it usually doesn’t snow until the first week of December. And sometimes, we don’t even get any snow at all! I really hope it snows this year… but like you, I don’t like driving in the snow (there are too many hilly roads here so it’s dangerous) so I hope it snows on a day when I don’t have to work!

Snow! I love snow! I’m so incredibly jealous for you, because I never, ever, ever get snow :(

Ooh I absolutely love snow. It’s a shame that it doesn’t really snow in Alabama. We get decent snow like once every 7 years. It’s getting really cold right now in our area, but cold weather without snow is a waste.

The snow was gone this morning, but now it’s snowing again like crazy!

It’s really bizaree actually – we’re heading into summer, but the weather recently has been more “wintery” than winter actually was. Heavy rain, overcast skies, hail on occasion….climate change ftl.

Oh wow, your new layout looks great!! I love it!!
Yes, it’s been snowing here as well, but not as thick. The dogs love it until they’re way too cold to move. Then the young one starts to cry and whine. I’m also in the Christmas spirits, started decoratng my house already! I can’t wait to put my Christmas Tree up and for more snow to fall!
