Bedroom Extravaganza
Get your mind out of the gutter, it’s not going to be a post like that!
I bought a new bed frame and mattress on Saturday after sleeping on a water-bed for 10 years. I now have a mattress with pocket springs. And even though I have to get used to sleeping on it, I haven’t slept so well in a little while! Generally I wake up a few times each night but with the new bed I fall asleep at night and don’t wake up until right before my alarm goes off. So I think I made a good purchase
.
My water-bed didn’t have a proper bed frame so I wanted something nice this time, which also matched the colours in my room; maroon and cream. So after looking around and finding the frame I liked I opted for a dark brown colour. And for the finishing touches, two night stands in the same colour from the same series as the bed frame. It all matches nicely with the colours in the room and with a cream coloured bed spread and night lights to bring it all together it looks like a charm.
But being a perfectionist I now want my wardrobe and my dresser to match the bed. Unfortunately they are expensive so I will have to wait to get them. The wardrobe alone is about 600EUR so for now, the old one has to do.
And if you were expecting a dirty post about bedroom secrets, here’s one for you: I’m very good in bed… (I could sleep all day!)

I might be able to paint it brown but it will never be the same as the bed and night stands. Also the doors on the wardrobe match the doors on the night stand so without those doors it would be too dark in the room (the doors on the night stands are made of glass).
your new bedframe sounds very nice! i’m like that as well, i always want everything to match hehe. but hey, you might be able to buy it if you save some money eh?

I’m disappointed that it’s not a post like that.
That’s what I excel at after all….sleeping.
Why not paint your wardrobe and dresser to match the bed? Would you be able to match the colour?
