Bike Fever
Two weeks seems a very short time to have a holiday, but it’s actually long enough for me. By the end of the second week I was actually looking forward to going home again and sleep in my own bed, sit on my own sofa and do the things I would usually do around the house.
Not that I didn’t have a nice holiday, it was wonderful. The weather was great, the people in Czech were really friendly and the food was good. I just don’t think I would have wanted to spend another week at the same spot. We’ve seen everything in the area, including some cities that were a few hours away. And even though it was all nice and wonderful, it’s good to be home again.
I always do feel refreshed when I’m back from a holiday. I actually feel so good (health wise) that I bought a Mountain Bike and went riding every day since the day I got back from the Czech Republic. I get up quiet early (8 AM is pretty early right?) and am on my bike half an hour later. For now it’s just 20 to 30 minutes each time just to get the hang of it, but I intend to do longer rides as soon as I’m in a little better shape than I am now.
So all in all my holiday was great, but it’s good to be back! Now I have to go and catch up with all of your blogs, which is going to take me another two weeks…

Ooh, I’m glad to hear you had a good time, but you’re right. Two weeks IS a very long time to spend in the same place.

The thing I love about coming home is that you get to sleep in your own bed. I normally lay down that night , pull up the covers and let out a long, “ahhh”.
It sounds like you had a great time.
