The Walk
I’ve been anxious for it to arrive ever since it was mailed out to be last Wednesday; the new Hanson album called The Walk.
My sister and her boyfriend bought it for me for my birthday but it wouldn’t be released until February 21, 2007 (in Japan) so I had to wait for it. But hey, it’s definitely a present worth waiting for.
It arrived on Friday just as I was checking it’s whereabouts through EMS. I loaded the page to see where it was and the doorbell rang. I guess I was beaming because mom who just walked in immediately guessed it was the long expected album.
I have to admit it’s amazing although I’m not objective enough due to my fan-ness. Zac has most of the leads on this album and his voice is awesome. This really is a multifunctional album, you can listen to it while cleaning house, driving a car, have friends over (as background music) or even to dance to.
It’s been stuck in my CD player since Friday and it won’t come out, it’s stuck
. They also started the release of the documentary about the making of the album, it’s called Taking The Walk, it’s free as a podcast on Itunes and you can find it here.
Can you tell it’s been a Hanson-eventful week?!

It’s awesome that Hanson is back ^^ I always loved their songs
Anyways, I tagged you, check my site to see what I mean!
Oh… I’ve never really listened to Hanson. I was more of a The Moffatts fan but I grew out of them fast. The only “boyband” I actually still like are the Backstreet Boys.
Hmmn..I think I’m going to try and listen to one of their albums sometime. ^_^
You should Fatima,
Although Hanson isn’t and never was a boyband. They are what the real deal so no put together shit from record companies to make money, but just three guys that love making music and are passionate about their music.
Where as the BSB and more boybands like that are the total opposite.

I haven’t listened to it yet but I’m not really a Hanson fan. Until I began talking to you and reading your blog, I never even knew they still existed! I suppose I just presumed what with “Mmm Bop” they were just a one hit wonder. Obviously I was wrong.
