The Concert is on!
I managed to get tickets to the London show yesterday!! I’m so excited. It was such a stressful few days to get the tickets, but after I got them I figured things would stress down. Not!!
Today I noticed that the site I bought the tickets through is related to another ticketing site which state in their FAQ they don’t send abroad anymore. It didn’t state the relation when I bought the tickets nor did it say anything about not sending abroad..
I called to the UK to find out what is going on and they told me they indeed, did not send abroad anymore but it wouldn’t be a problem to pick them up at the venue, even if I used someone else’s credit card.
Everyone got confused and after a second phone call from a friend we were back where we started; they DID send abroad. So what is the truth? You tell us, we didn’t have a clue. So this friend called another time only to find out they didn’t send abroad (talked to a manager) and it’s a venue ticket pick up.
So in short; I have to go to a will call window to get my tickets an hour before the show; just like 50% of the people going to the concert. Great! Luckily I can change delivery address online, or that’s the idea, I’ve been waiting for hours to get a link so I can change the address. I think it’s a good thing the concert is two more months away.
Hopefully I’ll be able to change the delivery address soon so I can relax again. Who thought concerts where so stressful?

I’m going to change the address for deliveries from mine to my friend’s who lives in the UK and is attending the concert with me so that shouldn’t be a problem.
The ticket company however is responsible for not stating it on their website at all and therefor confusing and putting a lot of fans in trouble who borrowed credit cards.
Now all I have to do is get the link to change the address lol.
Just from the tone of this entry I can imagine how hyperactive you are about going to see them.
[...] maybe that also has to do with the fact that the London tickets are on their way to May’s house. Finally I managed to get the address changed and they were [...]

I have no experience with buying tickets to concerts taking place in other countries. I think I would find a friend who lived within UK who would be willing to let them send her the tickets and then either hold them for me or ship them to me. Difficult – but at least you will be sure to get the tickets. Annoying it have to be so difficult and that you can’t get a straight answer!
