London

The past few days have been hectic again, but now it didn’t contain any grocery shopping. It actually meant not going grocery shopping.

A few days ago, some Hanson concerts where announced in the UK and being the loyal fan that I am, (hey, 10 years this year!) I just wanted to go. Realizing that one of my close friends now lives in London and is also a fan I figured it might be cool to meet up with her and attend the show together. We attended our first show together in 2003 and haven’t seen each other since.

After texting back and forward for a bit we agreed on a date to meet up and decided to make it a weekend, whether or not we could get tickets for the show. So flights are booked and things are arranged. Very exciting, it will be very good to catch up on things in person.

This morning though I got woken up by a text message from another friend and fan, Sarah. She told me tickets would go on presale today for fanclub members. Lucky me, I’m a fanclub member and will be able to get tickets before general sale. At 10 AM sharp I was sitting behind the computer (OK, let’s confess, I was there at 8 AM) and kept trying to access the ticket area. To my horror though it showed no events for Hanson. What?

At the fanclub area more people popped up with problems. I already let my mom know that our grocery shopping agreement had to be postphoned for the sake of ticket sales but eventually I cancelled it altogether. Mom understands, she really wants me to go so that’s great.
It turns out I spend all day trying to access the ticketing area with no results. I even called the ticket office once but to no avail. They told all callers another story.

In short; no presale, the way things look now it’s up for tomorrow. So that means another day of trying to get tickets. I really hope I can get them, it would be a good way to end an awesome weekend in London.

For what it’s worth though; mom is not without food, and tomorrow grocery shopping will be done..

I didn’t know that you were in London Chans! That means you’re about… An hour away from me at most. How cool is that :P ?

I hope you get them. I know what an obsessed fangirl for Hanson you are!
