Philosophy
Sometimes I just like to sit down and ponder about things, you know, really think things through. For instance the world. The world is a very vague description, at least for me it is. With the world one usually means our world; our planet. The planet we call earth. But what if the world is something bigger, something so large we haven’t even begun to understand the true meaning of it. So what is planet earth really and why are we here?
That basically brings us to our universe. We see ourselves as ‘Tha Shit’ of the universe. Everything evolves around us; earthlings. Life on other planets, nah impossible, unless you mean those green evil monsters we call aliens. But what if you break it down a little. All we are is a planet floating around in a big space of black nothingness that never ends.
I truly believe there is alien life in that big black space. Maybe it’s on planets further away, maybe it’s closer than we think, but there is life out there. How can there not be? One of the main reasons there is life on planet earth is the amount of water here. That is one of the things that makes life possible. Until now we haven’t discovered anything that comes close to our planet, but is that enough proof there isn’t anything out there?!
What if there is a larger planet out there with creatures (aliens as we like to call them) that are smarter than us. If they met us they would probably see us as those evil monstrous aliens that I mentioned before. Quiet frankly I would have to agree with them, at least on the evil part. We are so evil and vicious that we even kill our own kind.
This brings me back to my first question; what is earth and why are we here. Sure we all grow up, get jobs, live our life and eventually die. But why, what is the bigger purpose of it. Is living on earth just a stop on the way to some other place, and is it just to prepare ourselves for it. Or does it all stop after you left earth. I don’t think we will know until we really pass on, because only then we will know where we end up. Is it heaven, hell or another place we haven’t even thought of? Maybe that’s something to ponder over next time…

I agree with what you’re saying in this post. Not a lot of people seem to think of that–when I try to explain to people at school that we’re only one planet in a huge number of planets, and that others just have to have intelligent life on them, they think I’m crazy.
I like to ponder things through, as well. I don’t get much opportunity to, though.
Wow! That was deep. But to be honest with you, I have thought about this subject before. And you know what the weird thing is. We’d call them aliens and be all freaked out that we’re not the only ‘intelligent’ creatures in this universe, but we’d be just aliens to them all the same. =| And indeed they’d think we’re the purest of evil, for those exact reasons you gave. =/
I love pondering. It totally rocks.

It’s always interesting to think about stuff like “what does the world mean”… sometimes it’s just nice to think about really random things. I think it keeps the brain working, ya know? anyways it’s definately a nice thing to ponder. hehe. and they are always fun to read… of course now you have me thinking about it!!!!!!
