Photo Friday; Friend
Once again it’s time for a Photo Friday submission. This week the challenge is ‘Friend’. Everyone has their own ideas of friends and friendship, but to me a friend is someone who (amongst other things of course) always has your back. When translated into a photo, I think this one displays it best.
This photo was taken at the Dvur Kralove Zoo in Czech Republic. These Meerkats seem very nice and friendly but they can bite your finger off if you decide to stick your fingers in their enclosure. Come to think of it, maybe they don’t make such a good friend after all

They kinda look like they’re engaged in a mating ritual where you have to rub your butts together.

well apparently, his hair was too long – not a good impression for the examiners haha.
Odile doesn’t have an aggression problem, when your just about the only black girl in an all white town and someone calls you a nigger and a slut for no reason I think you have a right to be angry, the girls where the ones who started the fight by pushing her into the wall so I think they were the ones who should of been thrown out of the bar. But thats the way things go, everyones perception is different I guess.

That’s not how you put it in your blog, you said some girls stated on Odile, she leaps on them.
Later some girl walks by laughing at Odile, she throws a glass of whatever over this girl.
I agree that calling someone a nigger is just not done, I’ve been called a slut before; but I just stand above that and don’t get myself down to their level or lower.
It still doesn’t make me change my mind about needing some aggression controlling though, violence never solves anything. “Short Fuse” is what comes to mind here.
I’ve never seen a meerkat before.. I like your idea of friendship and the photo reflects it real well. My idea of friendship is the people left over after you screw up badly.
Thanks for the comment; that’s a cute picture there! Anyways, my husband and I are going to Orlando for three-four days. We’re going to a few malls one day, Disney one day, and Busch Gardens another day. So yeah I’m excited!! 
That’s really a lovely way to look at friendship and I think that this picture’s indeed the one best displaying it. My idea of friendship would also be someone who’s always there for you, no matter what.

You’re welcome Laura, I use it too to resize and rename my photos in batches. It can do even more but I suppose you’ll just have to read up on it

Awww. They are so cute! I’d want one for a pet… but I guess the whole biting thing would make that a bad idea.
