The Beautiful Girls
Today I was going to write a rant on bad review sites, but that’s going to have to wait for now as I found something else to rant about. Sorry Amanda, no uncredited quotes nor any lines taking out of proportion from you in this post 
Just minutes ago I found out that this band I like, The Beautiful Girls, are doing a concert in De Melkweg in Amsterdam and I have to miss it! Seriously I can’t go. The concert is on Friday August 11 but that’s a work night for me. Usually I can ask for a day off but since colleagues are still on their summer holiday I can’t take the night off, especially since that’s coming Friday, the last day of my first week back after my two week holiday! Damn.
And to make things even worse they are also doing a concert in Antwerp on Thursday August 17, but as you guessed, I can’t take that day off either.
The only good thing I can see from this is that De Melkweg is doing a live broadcast on the fabchannel. The usually archive it so I can see it when I get back from work, which is at least something. And on August 13 they will be broadcasting the concert from Joan as Police Woman who I ‘discovered’ today thanks to my friend Liezie.
So I suppose you can say there also is a bright side to it, but I would have preferred to actually be there!
