Back to Work

The wicked witch from the West is back from her trip to the East! Yes, it was a long time without Internet (two weeks to be exact) but I managed to survive. I hope you all survived those two weeks too without my blogs ;) . Actually I could have just gone to the Internet cafe down the road but I knew they would have to get six strong men to kick me out when they closed so I just decided to not go near it at all.

My holiday was great, I had a wonderful two weeks. I went to see a lot of things and cities. The trip really grounded me though, here I am contemplating which MP3 player to buy (as I want to start running some miles and I need music!) and we are always complaining we can’t buy the newest (completely useless) gadget while a lot of people in the Czech Republic don’t even have water and things like that, they have to go up into the mountains (even the elderly) and carry down water from the rivers every day. Surely that makes you think about how spoiled we are and how good our lives are here.

Speaking of life; I have to go back to work on Monday.

I took about 400 photos, and I won’t put all of them up on my online portfolio (which is still under construction) but only the ones I consider worthy will be put up. For now I’m going to leave it at this, I’m knackered from my ten hour car drive back home. Here’s a picture of the area where historical sandstones are located. Like I said it’s gorgeous there.

P.S. Laarni there is no mistake in the title. I really meant to write ‘Everyone is entitled to my opinion’. After all that’s what this website is all about, my opinions and rantings etc.

Ayyyyye welcome back. (Heh, I’m talking to you now. How strange and existentialist….)

Welcome back Chans! Oh my gosh, you’re right, we are fantastically lucky (so lucky to the point that I feel a little guilty) compared to some other people. Oh man, having to go up mountains to get your water… Anyway, welcome back (again), I can’t wait to see all of your photos!
