Weird

This is really weird, maybe even freaky. Just now (mind you it’s past midnight at the moment) my phone rang. So I check caller ID only to find out it’s my mom calling. When I pick up I don’t hear anything until my provider tells me the connection got cut off.

Since I live next door I walk over to ask what it is she wanted. It turns out she hasn’t called me at all. So when I checked her cell phone I was shocked; it was in an inside pocket of her purse, switched off! The only rational explanation I have for it is that something in the purse (something heavy) was laying on the phone that’s why it ‘rang’ me and when I picked up the phone the battery died.
When I found out the phone was off I thought I was crazy and checked my phone to see if I misread the caller ID. It really was a call at 12.23 AM from my mom’s cell phone.
I bet this beats Amanda‘s strange CD-in-the-mail story.

As promised there are a few more updates; two new reviews I received; a review from Jack E. Reviews and a review from Anarrima Reviews. I’ve also changed some sub pages. Hopefully there will be more updates over the weekend, if I can find the time to do so.

A competition between Chans and Amanda? Now that I would like to see! That is rather creepy. I once got a phone call at 3am; some man kept ringing me over and over again – it wasn’t until I disturbed my mum and she, very unpolitely (isn’t a morning person evidently) told him to ‘get lost’, that he did leave. Creepy but not a coincedence.

Maybe it was a ghost trying to haunt you ;) ?

That happened to my phone today! My friend called me up and then I couldn’t answer it and then I ended up calling my dad by mistake.

Gosh. :P

Ew! That is really creepy! I once got this really weird phone call from a guy looking for ‘Bertha’, but when I told him I wasn’t Bertha he totally flipped out on me – started yelling and stuff. It was really rather scary. =/

That IS really weird. I’ve never experienced anything like it. =S I’d have probably freaked out XD You’re lucky it was from your mom’s cellphone and not the number of someone you didn’t know.
