After seeing Amanda with her search term posts I decided to try and find out how people find my site. I had to search online for a search term or keyword activity script. After a few days of (not so active) searching I couldn’t find anything. Until I went to look up my site stats. It had been right under my nose all along.

My stats have a small area where you can look up a few search terms or keyword activity. The first term I noticed was “art teacher topless“. That doesn’t really surprise me, after all I wrote about the incident before. I still think she shouldn’t get fired over that though, especially now she generates me some traffic .

The thing that did surprise me was a search term “the view of world cup“. I know I’ve written a few entries about the world cup but honestly there are websites out there dedicated to the whole event so how is it that my site ends up somewhere visible enough for people to click through. So I went to the search engine it was generated from; sogou.com and typed it in myself. Low and behold I’m actually number one on their search engine with these search terms. Very strange as this is not what my site is about but very nice too as at least I’m getting somewhere and made it to the top of a search result list .

I wonder what kind of search terms I’ll find when I start keeping an eye on it.
