Yay if things go well I will have the keys to my apartment by next Friday or Saturday. Currently the apartment is nearly empty, it only has a few more things from the previous owner in it which (from what I hear from the rumormill) are going to be taken away sometime in the coming week.
After the keys are handed in (and transferred to me) the redecorating can begin. For now I’m going to leave the kitchen as it is. From what I’ve seen the last time I was in everything still looks good and I can always change it later. First I have to completely strip the walls from the wallpaper, get it smoothed out and paint the walls. Then I have to redecorate the bathroom, put a new ceiling in and new tiles on the walls and floor. When that all is done I can put the new floor in in the hall, livingroom and bedroom. Once I get that finished it’s time to bring in the new furniture and make it nice and cozy. I really can’t wait to get started!!!
I’m planning on making before and after photos so everyone can see what it looked like and how it turned out to be. Eventually I’ll post them here so keep an eye out for them.

Speaking of photos. I finally put the whole new updating system for Chantal Photography together and it’s not so much easier to update everything. I haven’t updated it since January because it’s such a hassle to make all the photo files with the exif details etc on them. Now all I need to do is pick the photos I want to display, upload them and everything is taken care off. Thumbnails, commenting system and a copyright notice on the photos. Besides the new update system on Chantal Photography, I’ve also updated my QBee Quilt. Which was about time as I had a trade waiting since March 19 but didn’t get around to putting it up until today. I can really suggest everyone joining the QBee. It’s a lot of fun and there are a lot of nice people there. It’s just a nice online community which involves trading little graphics with eachother but besides the patch trading is just a group of people trying to make new online friends. So go check it out.
