The Passing Of Miep Gies
Now I can imagine most of you going, who?! Miep Gies was one of the Dutch citizens who hid Anne Frank and her family during the second World War. She is also the one who preserved the dairies of Anne Frank and later gave it to Otto Frank, Anne’s father, who was the only survivor of the family.
She passed away one month before her 101st birthday, and I hope she will get a nice place up in heaven as she deserves it for putting her life at risk by helping the Frank family. So many people during World War II have risked their lives trying to help others by hiding them. It takes a lot of courage to do so but it also shows how kind, loving and caring those people were.
May she rest in peace.

Wow, that’s such an amazing thing to have done, it;s a shame she’s not more widely acknowledged. Thanks for taking the time to write about it, I had no idea.
