Welcome to July
Well actually it’s been July for almost a week already but I’ve been so busy lately that I hardly realised it. The (summer) holiday season is slowly approaching upon us and friends, family and co workers are preparing for their days away from home. My holiday doesn’t start until a few months from now so I have the (dubious) pleasure of seeing everyone leave, but also come back home. I guess I can say I have something to look forward too and others have to watch me go away later in the season (when things start picking up on the job again workload-wise).
I have to admit though that with the current weather I wish I was on my holiday already. The sun is out most of the day, it’s hardly raining and it’s hot. Luckily I get to splash around in my parents’ pool during the day but I always have to watch the clock for work time. Things are just much more enjoyable when you aren’t limited in your time.
Don’t worry I’m not complaining too much, I can enjoy the good weather before I go to work while others won’t get to until around dinner time and only have a few hours of sun left.
Life just seems so great at the moment, I have a job I enjoy doing, great friends, a wonderful family and I just love the place where I’m at in my life at this point. And although everyone (including me) always has something to ‘complain’ about, the grass always seems greener on the other side. So even if you don’t like the way things go in your life right now, just look at the things that are good, and generally you’ll see that things aren’t always as bad as they seem

Aww I loved this I’m happy that you’re happy! It also makes me infinitely happy when I hear that people are content with their lives… Many of us take everything for granted.
I also can’t believe we’re already a week into July! Time has flown!
The weather has been freezing but at least the days are a little bit longer now that we are past the shortest day .
