Thanks everyone that left a message on my facebook page, emailed me or sent me a text message on my birthday! I really appreciated it 
.
I had a great day, and have been spoiled rotten (once again). For me my birthday is not about getting presents, but getting to spend the day with the people I love most and are very important to me. And that was the best gift of all. It was great to see some friends that I haven’t been able to see in a while due to our busy schedules and it was just as great to see the friends and family I meet up with regularly. Everyone was there and that was awesome.
Nearly everyone loved my new dress, and I wasn’t surprised that some didn’t. Actually I expected them not to like it, after all, me and my sister have a completely different taste in clothing 
.
So, once again, thank you for the messages!

I didn’t know it was your birthday so belated happy birthday! Glad to know you had a blast. I love it when my friends remember my special day.. even some unexpected people too!

Anyway, I’m glad you had a blast. And I definitely agree… I think the older you get (and the more capable you are of buying stuff for yourself), gifts become less exciting. The best part about birthdays is getting to spend some quality time with the people you love. Cheesy, I know but you know it’s true!
