Musical Frustrations
Actually I love music, and it doesn’t frustrate me but relax me most of the time. But what does annoy me at the moment is Itunes. I generally like Itunes and I also love my ipod, but what I hate about Itunes is that when you go to their store and buy an album you can only play it on your computer or ipod.
Yes, you BUY something and they decide where you can play it and where not. Today I wanted to burn the Ziggurats album by The Beautiful Girls, onto a CD to listen to it in my car. The reason why I don’t use my ipod to listen to it in the car is because I still have the radio in it that came with the car and that doesn’t have an audio input. My own radio does but that one is currently gathering dust while we think of a way to get the current radio out.
Anyway, I couldn’t get the CD burned because the tracks are locked and I can only play them on 5 different computers and my ipod. It’s ridiculous as I paid for the fucking CD! After some research on the internet it turns out I have to burn it onto a CD first with Itunes, and then import it with mediaplayer to get them unlocked and then burn them onto a CD again to make it work!
That’s where another problem comes in. Itunes and my cd burner don’t seem to be compatible, many people have that problem with different manufacturers but according to Itunes, it’s not them. So instead I have to drag my ipod and the CD(s) to my parents house and load the songs, copy them on a computer (and give the computer permission to use the songs) then burn it and pray that it works…
The CD is now burned and I hope it plays, because right now I’m not amused to say the least and music isn’t relaxing me but frustrating me at the moment…

That is the biggest pile of bullshit I’ve ever read - WTF @ itunes and the itunes store. Personally I have no issues with it simply because I don’t use the itunes store… and i use my ipod via tape adapter in my car… so yeah. hmmfph.
but what a waste of time for trying to play music you bought!
