Cat Got Your Tongue?!

While walking home today after getting something to eat for dinner, I noticed that one of my shoes seemed to be a bit loose on the foot. Because I generally wear these shoes without my laces tied up, I figured that might be the problem so I continued walking.

Unfortunately that wasn’t the case and it seems that my 4 month old (or so) shoes are now broken. The problem with the loose shoe wasn’t the laces but the tongue! Yes, I somewhere, somehow lost the tongue of one of my shoes. The shoes are K-Swiss tongue twisters but I never twist them, I like them the way they are, but somehow one of the tongues seems to have broken off right at the twisting ‘device’.

I can still wear them so there’s no need for other shoes, I just have to make sure I wear a pair of very long jeans to cover the missing tongue. Unless I retrace my steps of the last few days and find them either near the house or in the car, or it’s left at Ikea’s after buying a new bed there yesterday. Maybe I should call their lost and found department asking for a tongue ;)

I have no idea what a tongue on a shoe is, so I am utterly confused, hahaha. Still, that would be a very funny conversation =D

If that were my shoe, I’d be upset. K-Swiss can cost a pretty penny.
