Back at the job
My summer holiday is over and I have been back at work for a week now. I have to admit it feels like I have been back at the job for months already, it really seems that the holidays are that far behind me. But maybe that’s because things at work have been rather busy, we have some new colleagues that needed training and even though I was away from work, the work didn’t stop coming in so it was as busy as ever. I guess I just have to keep my eyes on the price; the pay check at the end of the month…
The good thing about being back at work is that I get to drive my new car a lot (now that the mirrors are fixed!). And it’s so much more comfortable than my old car (which will still be dearly missed). Yesterday I drove up to Horse Event as my best friend arranged a free ticket for me.
The shows there were amazing and the clinics done by professionals where really interesting. Especially the horse chiropractor and dentist. I’ll spare you the details on the real horse lungs and other body parts displayed, although that was very interesting and informative.
So for now, I’m just going to relax and will be back at the job tomorrow. And for those of you who care’; the tattoo is healing up nicely and it looks amazing. I do think I have to go back to the shop in a few weeks time for some touch ups but other than that it’s awesome!

Only 2 weeks, I could have applied for 3 as you get so many days a year to take off work so you have to spread the days over the year yourself.
If I would have gotten 3 months off, I would never leave the job haha. I guess that’s an advantage when one becomes a teacher….
You had summer holiday from work? That is so cool!
I’m glad to hear your tattoo is healing… and I’m also glad that the car situation worked out. Sounds like you’re gonna have a fun Fall

How long was your summer holiday for? Was it just annual break (e.g. two weeks a year), or do you get a full-on three month summer holiday every year? If so…can I have your job?
