Over the past few days I have been looking at designs for tattoos some more. But what I’m looking for seems impossible to find so I guess I have to ask the tattoo artist to design something for me, or design something myself. And since I haven’t heard back from the tattoo shop yet, I am currently opting for the latter.

Today I have designed an infinity symbol in the shape of a butterfly. Which has a special meaning to me, not only for the site name but the combination of the meanings of infinity and butterflies (for one; life after death and therefore infinity) appeals to me. So I have spread my search from only infinity symbols to butterflies as well and I want to try and combine it.

Of course I will wait a little while before I have it done, because I want to be absolutely sure. But even though I haven’t talked about it much with friends and family the last few days, the idea of having one has been present in my mind all the time.

My best friend already offered to hold my hand when I get it done (notice how I slipped from ‘if’ to ‘when’ ?) and that’s really nice of her, but I just hope I don’t break her hand or fingers when the time comes…
