I’m still in the middle of changing Chantal Photography around, I just upgrade my WP there to the latest version and now I’m on the hunt for some good gallery plugins. I’m currently using simple viewer for the galleries but that’s just not what I’m looking for as it’s using flash. I know WP has a build in gallery but I don’t know how to use it. Is any of you using a good plugin for WP to build galleries, or do you know a good one you can recommend?
Also, I’m going to add a Flickr plugin to add a few images to the layout so it’s not so dull (thanks for the tip Amanda ). I liked the layout about a week ago but now I feel it’s a little dull and boring, but I also have to add that I keep forgetting it’s a photography site, not a blog or any other personal site.
For SB I also have some things planned. I already changed the default layout from Spring Silhouette to Butterfly, for now anyway, I’m not sure how long that will stay. I’m in the middle of adding pages about Sam and Cas as well as trying to find a place to include my Last.fm last played list. I tried the sidebar on the Butterfly theme but it’s too small, so I have to find another place for that.
And if that’s not enough (busy as I am with other things that need to get done) I’m thinking of adding another theme, something along the lines of the layout that Tracy and Jenny have up. With the navigation on top and a big footer with content, although I’m not sure when I’ll get that done.
As you can see there is enough to do here and at Chantal Photography, now all I have to do is find time to do it in…
