Macro-graphy Part II
I finally got that long awaited phone call from the photography store telling me my macro objective is in. It took about a month for them to get it in. I can understand they are depending on their supplier to get these things in when ordered, but I would have expected them to call their supplier if it took longer (a lot longer!) than expected and then call me about it. They eventually did, but I had to call them about 3 times and drop by the store once before they made that call.
Normal delivery times are usually around a week, and because the store’s supplier had to order it in from Sigma as well it took longer this time. Usually this store has good service, they are very friendly and give good advice when you want it, I just expected them to be a bit more on top of things, especially if you consider what these objectives cost, it’s not 10 EUR we’re talking about.
I’ll be picking it up tomorrow though, and I can’t wait to test it. Let’s just hope that there will be some bugs around that would like to be photo models.

I love macrophotography. Yeah, those bugs better be willing to pose!
