I am Sam (or not..)
During our holiday my sister had to bring some of our stable kittens to the vet’s as they were really sick. Unfortunately only one survived, the others were too sick. That one kitten is allowed to go home from the clinic tomorrow and is going to live with me. Yes, inside for a change. So after adopting Apple and Peanut, who are (like Ike my other cat) outdoor cats I will have an indoor cat (or kitten actually) from tomorrow on.
According to my sister he’s completely black. I haven’t seen him yet and am very curious as to what he looks like. Of course we need a name for him. I was sorting through cat names and my eye fell on ‘Sam’. I like it, it sounds kind of tough but other ideas are always welcome.
So tomorrow I’ll be shopping for cat things such as a toilet and the like. I’m really looking forward to it and I won’t see him until I’m back from work tomorrow. You’ll see, that tomorrow I’ll have to work until very late, like 11 PM or something, it just all depends when the work comes in so you can never tell.
I’m still catching up on all of your blogs, so that’s why I haven’t commented anywhere yet but I will as soon as I’m done reading it all.

…there’s something weird going on, I’m not getting your posts through my feedreader. :S I’ve missed so much!
^ Like Amanda I had a lot of trouble with your feed as well but after your latest upgrade it seemed mine was fixed.
Congratulations on your new cat! I am sad that the other one died… What was wrong with them? Poison or something? I hope the two of you will enjoy each others company though
Your feed is working fine for me now — but I know I missed a few entries weeks ago (although the weeks have blurred into months and my time keeping has certainly gone awry).
I want to see a picture of the new cat! It sounds adorable. I’m sorry to hear about your other one though.

One of the cats at the barn I used to board at… his name was Sam.
He would sit in the arena and NOT move when you rode your horse towards him… even when jumping and such.
He was insane. I finally stopped swerving my horse for him because you never knew if he was going to run or which way so it was just better if only ONE of you changed your path…
and I just got frustrated with him.
