Baby Boom

After my last post it’s time to announce another birth; our crown prince and his wife princess Maxima had their third child on April 10, 2007. They already had two girls and now have a third one. Her name was announced today; Ariane Wilhelmina Maxima Ines. That’s quiet a mouth full but she will be named Ariane. Another name with an A which was kind of expected, as their other children are called Amalia and Alexia. I would have guessed they had another A..ia name but they didn’t go with that and just stuck to the first letter tradition.

The weather here is great at the moment and it’s supposed to stay that way for at least a little while longer. That means my arthritis isn’t longer killing me, sure I still feel it due to the humidity but it’s nowhere near as bad as it was last week. I’m currently back at work and went to see my GP about other medication. He gave me something I’ve tried before (and didn’t work then) to see if it’s any good now. I guess I’ll just have to wait and find out if it does anything for me, but for now I’m doing OK. I don’t think I can say it’s the new pills, I think it has to do with the weather being stable. But either way I’m back on my feet and even managed to take some nice photographs again, which I will post tomorrow or this weekend. I’ll also try to visit my dailies and the commenters over the weekend. Thanks for putting up with my lack of updates and my nagging about my arthritis, I didn’t expect anyone to actually read that…

The weather is amazing around here too! I guess we are not that far apart though so maybe an of course would be in order.

Congratulations to your royalty! Our crown princess is pregnant too.

Don’t know if it’s weird that I know all about Queen Beatrix and the Dutch royal family :P Royal families are funny, I think. Most of them are only figureheads, but they do… Almost nothing.

“Wilhemina”… Do you think that the royal family are Ugly Betty fans, or is it just a happy coincidence?

The weather here had been great but then unfortunately it seems to have gone into that horrible “quite warm, but with cloud, and a chilly breeze” phase. The weather men LIED.
