Super Bowl Birthday
As said in my previous post; yesterday was my birthday AND Super Bowl Sunday. I had a great day, it was the first time celebrating my birthday in my own place but it was all good. I had enough cake and other things, I even have a lot of it left. And I was worried I didn’t have enough; obviously there was no need to be worried about that!
I’ve been spoiled rotten with presents. Amongst all the great gifts where a Wacom Volito graphic tablet (my parents gave me that, as well as a book) and the new Hanson album; The Walk that my sister and brother-in-law got me. It’s still in pre order from Japan as it’s not released yet. The first release date is for Japan, on February 21. (It’s May for the US and Europe is unknown yet except for the UK) so I’ll be looking forward to finding that in my mailbox after February 21.
All presents I received are great, I just wanted to name the above mentioned gifts as I love my Wacom graphic tablet, and all of you know how much I love Hanson’s music.
Also, because it was Super Bowl Sunday, I was so happy I would be able to see it on TV even here in The Netherlands. There used to be Dutch channels that aired it but for some reason there weren’t any this year. Luckily for me the extra channel we get this month is NASN and they showed it live. I was so looking forward to seeing it on TV, but unfortunately I missed it! Yes, you read that right, I missed it.
As you can imagine it’s night time here when the Super Bowl starts, and normally that wouldn’t be a problem, but I was so tired from walking around all day providing for my guests I fell asleep almost as soon as my head hit the pillow. For me that’s an extraordinary thing to happen anyway, but I can’t stand it it had to happen on Super Bowl Sunday!
So, I missed the game, but I’m going to try and find the game online to watch it. I don’t know the results yet, and I’d like to keep it that way, until I’m absolutely sure I can’t find the game online to watch.
I guess that sums up my Super Bowl Birthday, and even though I missed the game I still had a wonderful day.
Thanks everyone for all your wonderful birthday wishes, e-cards and e-gifts!!!

P.S. I’ll visit everyone’s site tomorrow, it kind of slipped by the last few days but I haven’t forgotten about you!

I really wish I understood the intracacies of the Super Bowl! Alas, I have absolutely no idea about it all. I’m very glad you had a good birthday though! Hanson, um, FTW!
Can anyone just explain what FTW means? I’ve been seeing it a lot lately but I’m not sure what it means…
According to Wiki it’s For The Win, or Fuck The World. Is that it?

For the win!
I think your third comment is spam… Anyways I am sorry you missed out on superbowl if you wanted to see it – they didn’t even broadcast it here on a public channel. Happy belated birthday – I wish I was the one with cake in the fridge.
Glad to see you had a great birthday, aside from the missing the game though. I don’t think I’ll be so lucky in the gift receiving department when I’m 24
