Shop until you Drop

When I was younger I dreamed about being able to wear my mom’s shoes and played dress up with old clothes and pumps all the time. And now, after a decade (probably about two decades actually) I finally did it. I bought myself some pumps. Not your normal styled pumps but a pair of trendy black ones.

My new black pump

I don’t think I was the only one who liked to dress up and play with make-up when they were young. I remember being at a friend of my mom’s house. She had two daughters who are a few years older than I am. We played dress up and attacked someone’s make up case. I ended up with some really weird clothes and blue eyeshadow covering my cheeks. I looked like a smurf at a funeral or something. There should be a photo somewhere in my albums, I’ll try to find it so I can embarrass myself online…
Did you do anything like that when you were younger (or do you secretly doing it now too ;) ?)

On with the shopping fun now. While I was in town anyway I decided to treat myself to a pair of 3/4 black pants too. It’s a chic one with a small chalk stripe, so I can wear it to work.

And the main reason I went to town was to get a pair of brown boots to go with jeans and some skirts. I found some really cute ones at a local store and they are so comfortable. They kind of remind me of my leather riding boots, actually a lot of boots remind me of them. I suppose that’s kind of in fashion right now. Especially with all those jeans-tucked-in-boots look (which I don’t really like to be honest). Ooh well, I kept you in suspense long enough, here are my new boots;

And just because they are always useful I closed those deals with the purchase of two simple turtleneck tops; one black and one white. No photos, I suppose everyone can image what they will look like.

I loved to play dress-ups when I was younger, even when I fell over in Mum’s high heels. I didn’t mind. Now, though, it doesn’t really interest me.

Also, I added you on NaNoWriMo. :) My username on there is JessSmith.

I’m in love with your boots. They’re gorgeous. And if I were a girl who wore pumps, I’d be all over those too. socute. I’d say money well-spent. =)

I used to play dress-up as a kid. *smirks* And that’s all I have to say about that.

Love the boots! Got a quite simular looking pair myself. Brown leather boots are the best. Yup. ^^
