Friendship

This one is for my friends; my offline friends, my online friends and my friends who I first met online and finally got to meet IRL. I don’t think I ever said how much all of you mean to me.

Friendship is a valuable thing and something a lot of people take for granted. Even though friendship is really important to me, and I love my friends, I don’t think about how happy I should be to have friends. Not until someone crosses my path who makes me realize how lucky I am to have friends and social skills.

The reason for writing this is because I was pondering about my college years and wondering what happened to one of the girls in my class. She lacked social skills completely and when offered courses and things like that to help her out she refused. It’s a long story I won’t go into now but just thinking of it realized how much I care for my friends.

My friends know I’m always there for them and they can call me in the middle of the night if they need to talk to someone. I just don’t tell them ‘I love you’ because, let’s face it, most people think that’s weird although it doesn’t mean I’m in love with them, I just love them generally speaking.

So to all my friends; I love you, you are the best. Thanks for all the wonderful years of friendship and I hope there are many more to come.

I believe that our friends are very important in our life…there is a Russian proverb: “It’s better to have 100 friends than 100 roubles”. As for me, I have friends even in Sydney, Australia
