Remarkable

This week’s Photo Friday Challenge is ‘Remarkable’. To me nature is remarkable. The way it works and it’s designed; everything has a purpose. For this week’s challenge I couldn’t find a better fit than this (beautiful if I may say so) photo of a butterfly, here on Silent-Butterfly.com

What a beautiful picture. Did you take that picture yourself? I ask the same question Amanda asked, how did you manage to get so close? Nature is indeed remarkable. The way it works is amazing. Everything is so “perfect”, everything is so well organized.
It took your lovely site to bring me out of my slump. I feel that if I am on your dailies, I should at least post something, well, almost daily. I have new pictures lined up every other day till the 20th. Hope you enjoy them. Thanks, always for your inspiration.
Yes I took the photo myself, it was taken at the Butterfly Farm in Stratford-Upon-Avon, UK. They are used to people so that’s probably one of the reasons I got so close, the other ways I used to get closer are my zoom, and the micro function.
Jeff, thank you so much for your kind words. I’m glad to see you’re now updating regularly again!
ah, i really love that photo! it really is very appropriate, considering SB is your website, heh. as for what’s remarkable in the world, i agree that nature can definitely be described as that. we’re lucky that we can capture so many photos of it, i don’t think i’ll ever get enough nature.
I love the photo. May I ask if the butterfly was, in fact, silent? Heh. I need to discover my funniness… it has evaporated.
I love the picture though. It’s very pretty and bright too.
Embrace nature (except bees, birds, wasps and flies).
Wow, that is an amazing picture. I love the way a butterflies wings looks. My aunt had a tiny picture made of butterfly wings, what a waste.
Wow, that picture is gorgeous, even though I’m deadly afraid of butterflies
