Bono in Africa
Itunes now has a free downloadable 35 minute video special on Bono and his wonderful work in Africa. You can get it here. This is not only for Bono fans, I think this concerns us all. Everyone can do something, even if it’s just something small, to make this world better.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to view the video on Itunes as I can’t seem to download the video. If there is anyone who is able to get me the full length video, please contact me I would really like to see it.
However I was able to find this clip. Just watching that clip made me realize even more how good my life is. It just makes all the little things in life that we complain about seem so irrelevant.
Sami, I think this proves how wrong you were with your accusations about Bono. You might not like the man but you should at least have some respect for what he does, apart from the music.
Feel free to pass the video link(s) around, they are free. And the more people that know about it the better!
// Edit: Here are some more clips from Bono in Africa.

I’m not a personal fan of U2 but it takes a lot to go to Africa; I’m one of those who fundraises for Comic Relief, and all the charities but could never go there. I’d hate to see what it’s really like. So I do respect him for that.
I do disagree with Sami’s blog; if I were that rich, I would definitely donate money to various charities but not 30% of my income. Selfish much? Yes. But at least I am honest. I regard people like Angelina Jolie as practical saints for doing what they do.
Hah, I don’t know who Bono is but his name sounds familiar.. It looks like he’s a very good person for what he did. And I agree with you, that video makes all the little things we usually complain about seem unimportant.

Wow, you’re right. I realized how much worse my life could be. The saying “Don’t sweat the small stuff.” really comes into play. =\ I have very mild respect for him.
