Last Thursday I drove back from work and wanted to swap CDs in my car radio. So I picked up 3 CDs I had laying around to pick one out while I was waiting for a traffic light. So I swapped CDs and put the rest of them back where I got them from. I continued my way home and when I got out of my car I wanted to take the CDs in the house with me, but I couldn’t find 2 of them. They just had gone missing. I couldn’t find them anywhere. Not in the pocket I put them in, not under the passenger seat, not under the driver’s seat, not near the back seat or anywhere else in my car. Dad came out as he noticed it took a while for me to get in the house and helped me look for it but we couldn’t find them. Luckily I keep copies in my car as they scratch quicker so it wasn’t that bad that I lost them but I found it very strange…..
Than yesterday I went to Ikea’s and checked the car one more time. There is this hidden pocket in the floor on the passenger seat and the driver’s seat. When I took the cover off from the one behind the passenger seat I found them, under the seat, in front of the hidden pocket. The reason why I couldn’t find them when I looked there is that there is a bit of an overlap of the cover of the pocket and the floor and they got caught between the little space of the overlap. When putting them back I must have missed the pocket I wanted to put them in and dropped them between the pocket and the passenger seat and while driving they must have slipped between the cover.
Either way I found them and they still work so they aren’t scratched that much. It got me wondering for a while do how a closed car could all of a sudden ‘miss’ 2 CDs that you had in your hands only 10 minutes before .

Basically that’s the only ‘adventure’ I had last week as I was down with a flu and a bad fever. The flu is going around at the moment and there are a lot of people who called in sick at work too. They even called me from work to ask me if I could come in as they where short on staff. I’m still not 100% better. Yesterday at work I think I must have broken out in a fever again as I turned all red and my colleague asked me if I was ok. Good thing it’s the weekend so I can rest and relex a bit more.

Today I received some good news! Sara left a comment on my previous post and I was really happy to get a message from her. Her site had disappeared and I hadn’t seen her online in forever. I don’t think anyone else we both know did either as I asked around to see if anyone had heard from her. I’m so glad I got a message from her and know that she’s ok. Her site is still gone though and I don’t know if it will come back but I emailed her and I hope to hear from her again soon.

lol I’ve had something similiar happen with my CDs. I HATE it. And my cell phone too. No matter how hard you look you can’t find it. It makes me feel silly. lol

I hope you are getting over the rest of the flu. *hugs*
