Weather Alarm

Leaves in the Snow - Chantal Photography They have been predicting snow storms all week now but there haven’t really been any so far. I like snow, it’s nice, if you don’t have to go anywhere that is. Tomorrow there is a 90 % chance they will call out a national weather alarm which means we if we have to go out, need to take food, drinks and blankets with us in our cars in case we get stuck somewhere. Apparently tomorrow the weather will be bad, so I hope I can make it to work tomorrow night. If it really is too dangerous to drive there I’m going to have to call in. Honestly, I don’t think they are going to like it if that’s the case and I can’t blame them but I assume they don’t want me to crash myself somewhere while trying to get to work on icy roads…. But like I said they have been predicting snow all week and we only had a little so far so let’s see how things are tomorrow.

The last few days I’ve been quiet busy with my college course homework. I kind of let things slip since October but I’ve send in quiet a bit of homework again over the last few days and the grades were good so that’s a nice way to close the year (and to begin the next I hope). I’ve promised myself (rather, forced myself) to do some homework every day if I want to have the course done by April. I think I can still make it though, actually I think if I were to do some serious homework every day I would have the course completed by end of February / beginning of March. I guess the main reason why I let it slip was because I didn’t like the current subject which involved a lot of math. I’m not very good at math but I managed to get straight A’s 4 out of 6 classes of this subject. Not bad eh? I don’t have all my grades back yet though and I have 1 more class to send in before I end this subject.
There’s one subject I’m actually looking forward to, that’s English Business class. That’s probably just because I really like the English language and I’ve always been quiet good at it in Highschool. Sure I still make mistakes (mainly spelling) but since it isn’t the language we speak at home I don’t think I’m doing bad at all hehe…

I know some of you out there (used to) visit Sara regularly. I haven’t heard from her in a little while and her site is still on hiatus. To be honest I’m a little bit worried about her. If anyone has heard anything from her please let me know!!

That’s it for now, later dropsticks x

Although it has been said that the weather should have been aweful today, nothing really happened. We had snow the last night which forced me to drive home from cinema with only 40 km/h but that was all.

Nay, your english is quite fine. As far as I can say, with german as my mother tongue :-) But it sounds good to me. And as long everyone understands what you say, everything’s okay *g* By the way, I like english pretty much as well.
