Good News
Yesterday they came to pick up my car to get it fixed in the garage. I really hoped I would get some good news about the costs of all that was wrong with it. They told me that it would in the worst case be around $400 (which later got ‘upgraded’ to $500) but today dad went to check out the car at the garage and they told him it wasn’t a worst case scenario which means it won’t be $400 – $500 to get it fixed!! Is that good news or what?! I really can’t describe how happy I am at the moment, I hoped it would be less then the $400 and now it looks like it’s going to be a lot less than that. What a relief. It’s not like I wasn’t going to pay the $400 to get it fixed because I need my car to get to work etc., and for that amount of money you can’t buy a second hand car that is just as good as this car is (even though some things were broken). My “Cookie” has been checked from top to bottom (and back I suppose lol) and other then the cilinder valve, and a tire, nothing else is wrong with it. So for $400 I can’t buy a car that’s just as good. And I’m very happy I don’t have to look for another car as me and Cookie are very happy together hehe. Well I am anyway!
Other then doing grocery shopping I did shit all today. I did some reading in my new book and I nearly finished it (I’m planning on finishing it tonight). Basically I just surfed on the Internet, read my book, and hung around today, so nothing really interesting to tell at all. Although there might be 1 thing that’s pretty exciting, one of my colleagues at work knows a professional photographer who is looking for someone to design her website and explain to her how she has to update it herself etc. She asked me if it was OK to give my details to her if I was interested in designing that site for her. Well I definitely am interested in doing some (paid) webdesigning, as it brings in some extra money which I can put aside towards getting my apartment. So my colleague passed on the info to the lady and I’m waiting for her to contact me about it all. The best thing is that she’s a professional photographer and I might be able to learn some things from her photography – wise. Cool huh?
Tomorrow Noëlla is coming to my house with her horse Perez. We’re going to ride in the woods together near my house. I wonder how the horses will get along as they never met before and I’m not really sure how Adanto responds to other horses being around when we go outside. He’s around my other horses all the time ofcourse but we never went out riding with another horse present so we’ll just have to wait and see how things go. I’m not going to be by myself though, dad’s home too and he’s coming along (mainly because I feel safer having someone on a bike around to help when things go “wrong” and also because Adanto doesn’t know the signal for stop quiet yet, although he’s doing better at it already). She’s only coming to my house if the weather is OK though otherwise Perez is going to be on the horsetrailer all day while my horses are in their stables and honestly you can’t really do that to a horse, he’s better off in his own stable then. I’ll see if I can take the camera to get some photos of us together.

I’ve updated my QBee Quilt again and added a new photo to Chantal Photography. Today’s photo was taken out of my bedroom window at sunset today. It might show up pretty dark on some computer screens (I can notice the difference with our flat screen and my normal screen) but it’s actually the silhouette of trees against a background of different shades of blue (and a bit of red if you look carefully). That’s it for today, hopefully more tomorrow. Later dropsticks x
