The Legend Of Zorro
Yesterday I met up with Noëlla who had a day off from college. We went to do some (window)shopping in the city and went to see a movie. I saw some cute earrings in the shape of dreamcatchers but they only had 1 pair and the left and right earring didn’t match, one had black stripes on it and the other didn’t so I decided not to buy them.
However, I did get a free drink (or well 2 sips hehe). They have alot of people in the city asking shoppers questions about certain things, so we got stopped quiet a lot to answer some but every time we were able to “escape” them. I know they are just doing their job but hey.. They can be pretty annoying. Either way, the last person asked us some questions about food (we couldn’t get away here) and drinks, and invited us into their “headquarters” to test some new drinks. Noëlla doesn’t drink fruitjuice but I do so I had to test them. The first drink was a mix of Banana and Pineapple. I usually love Pineapple but this wasn’t too good, so I told her it wasn’t. Meanwhile Noëlla was trying to keep from laughing because I was making a weird face as I tried the juice. I don’t know what the second drink was (which flavor) but it wasn’t much better then the first one, so while walking back to the shops leaving the lady behind with some negative but honest feedback on the new drinks we couldn’t help but laughing. I had to get something to eat to get the bad taste out of my mouth and then it was time to go see The Legend of Zorro.
I really enjoyed the movie, it’s quiet good. Did you know they used a Dutch breed of horses for this movie, we call them “Friezen”. From what I read about the movie they used more then 1 and used every horse for what it did best, and after I seen the movie I can understand why they did that. I’m not going to see much about the things the horse (or well horses) did because that would kind of spoil the movie but it was amazing what they thought the horses. Ofcourse not only the horse was good about the movie, just the way it was made, the story was pretty good too, and the little jokes they had “hidden” in it made it a fun and good movie to watch.
My car has to go to the garage on Monday, it’s a bit sick I think lol. Yesterday while driving home from work, I was on the highway and noticed that my car kind of slowed down and then picked up again (and no it wasn’t me getting my foot on and off the gas). It’s pretty slow driving away in 1st gear too which it usually never is so I went across the street today where a friend of my parents lives and he has his own garage so he’s going to check my car on Monday (I can still drive it now) and when it’s fixed he’s going to do the annual check up straight away as well as it’s due before December 15. Hopefully there won’t be much wrong with my car, and I noticed it doesn’t do it all the time either so let’s just hope it’s something small and isn’t going to cost me loads of money to get done.
Niki can’t ride Adanto for nearly 3 weeks. She went to see the GP this morning about her wrist and she most likely badly sprained a muscle or something in her wrist and isn’t allowed to “fiddle around with the leads” as the GP put it. That kind of suck as she is off all of next week and was planning on going riding every day. I guess the only thing she can do now is go with me while I go riding. That doesn’t sound like much fun but at least she’s around the horses. Hopefully for her it doesn’t take 3 weeks to heal so she can be back on the horse in no time!
By the way, Silent Butterfly has won an award. The Silver Award given out by Aileen from Artistique-Ilustra.net.

That’s it for now, I’m going to vacuum clean my living room before I have t prepare dinner and then go to work. Later dropsticks x

Dreamcatchers are cool. I remember making my own back in Girl Scout Camp. I put a million beads on mine, so it turned out kind of ugly. No bad dreams were getting through that!
Ooh Zorro ~ I’m glad to hear that it was a good movie. I’ve been hoping to see it with my sis for a while now – last time we were going to see it but a friend of ours wanted to see Flight Plan, so we ended up seeing that instead. It was pretty good, but I still crave Zorro ^_^.
